(New York, 4 December 2023) – Motko is thrilled to announce that Maureen O’Toole has joined its Advisory Board. With over 35 years of experience in the financial industry, Ms. O'Toole brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in corporate culture, and sustainable investing to the Motko team.
Throughout her distinguished career, Maureen O'Toole has held senior management and executive positions at Morgan Stanley, Citigroup, K2 Advisors, and Actis. Her commitment to excellence in the field of alternative investments has been a guiding principle for her and those she has mentored. Besides her impressive financial career, Maureen is an avid advocate of female empowerment, fundraising for Women’s World Banking, a global women’s focused micro finance group, and currently residing as board member of Empower Her Network, a group committed to assisting women who have been trafficked.
“We are honored to have Maureen join Motko’s advisory board,” said Motko’s CEO Kira Golenko. “Maureen is bringing not only her unparalleled financial expertise but also her deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. She is a remarkable professional and person; there is so much we can and will learn from her. Maureen's leadership and advocacy align perfectly with Motko's values, and we look forward to the invaluable contributions she will make to our strategic vision and growth."
“I am excited to be part of this effort at Motko. Having worked with real estate investors for years, I have seen implementation of ideas that can make a significant difference in the mood and productivity of individuals and groups. Our “healthier” buildings had a strategy to simply convince tenants in older outdated stock, to move. Exit multiples were higher and people were happier at work. Motko has a good solution for nearly every type of property in improving the experience for all,” Maureen O’Toole commented on her appointment. “I have known Kira Golenko for over 10 years and believe her to be a true, inexhaustible entrepreneur, who can deliver this solution with scale.”
Motko team extends its gratitude and welcomes Maureen, reinforcing its commitment to fostering environments that values people, creates community and promotes well-being at all levels.
